New Study Says Texting Makes Us More Confident People!

Good news! Your unlimited texting plan is paying off by making you a more confident person! A new study done at Indiana University Bloomington shows that texting and messaging gives people a self esteem boost!
The study tracked text communications like Facebook, email, and, of course, text messaging over six days, and the study found that:

“Even though more participants in the study communicated with others face-to-face than they did texting, the study found that the texting was better for self esteem.”

Each social interaction a person had was logged and scored on its intimacy, satisfaction, sharing, and quality. At the end of all of that, they think that texting makes people happier because others are likely to overshare via text-based messages, and because even though you have a Facebook profile, the internet still provides a kind of anonymity.

So, if you think you’re texting too much, don’t worry! You’re just getting a quick self-esteem boost!
